{DIY} Christmas Fabric Garland

Matieral Needed: String of lights |  Fabric | Scissors
Step 1. Cut a small slit
Step 2. Hold fabric with one hand and tear down  into strips about 1 inch wide
You will need lots of strips!
Step 3. Arrange the strips in order for the cutting
Step 4. Cut the Strips into 7 inches lenght and tie them in a knot onto the string of lights
Step 5. Repeat the steps
Its time consuming! Do this while listening to music or watching a movie ;)

My Inspiration came from here.
I had a lot of fun making this colorful garland.
I'm excited to make more for the rest of my stairs!
Is anyone making any DIY for the holidays?
Id love to hear about your creations!

This is quite possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen. My daughter has a strand of lights in her room, and now I definitely want to cover the cord in fabric!

Thanks again for popping over to my blog, dear.

Love the idea of a fabric scrap garland. It's a nice way to use up those little bits and cover up the green cord all at once.

I just wonder, does it fray?
